Anxiety Therapy in Calgary

What is Anxiety & Panic?

Anxiety is a natural human response — a sign that something feels uncertain or overwhelming. While it can sometimes help us stay alert, it becomes draining when worry or tension show up often or feel out of your control.

At Cedar & Sky Wellness, I am here to meet you with care and understanding. We’ll move gently, exploring what’s happening in your body and emotions at a pace that feels comfortable. We’ll help your nervous system settle and reconnect with a sense of grounding and safety.

My goal is to help you understand your patterns with compassion — and to support you in finding steadier, more spacious ways of moving through the world.

Does This Sound Like You?

“My body reacts before I can make sense of what’s happening.”

“No matter what I try, I struggle to feel settled or at rest.”

“My nervous system feels like it’s always ‘on,’ even when I’m exhausted.”

“Sometimes I feel disconnected from myself or what’s around me.”

“I overthink everything, even simple things.”

“It feels like I’m doing everything I should, but calm still feels out of reach.”

How I Help

Together, we’ll choose the approach that feels most comfortable and effective for you, so your care is tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (MCBT)

Increase awareness of thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a grounded and compassionate way. Through mindfulness, reflection, and practical coping tools, we work to build emotional regulation, reduce overwhelm, and develop healthier ways of responding to stress, anxiety, and difficult experiences.

Somatic Therapy

Focus on the connection between your mind and body, using gentle awareness and body-based techniques to release tension and restore a sense of safety and ease.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Explore the different “parts” of yourself—like the worried or fearful parts—so you can understand them, heal old patterns, and bring more balance and calm to your inner world.

Narrative Therapy

Create space to explore the beliefs you hold about yourself and your experiences. Sometimes life experiences, relationships, or challenges can shape the way we see ourselves in ways that feel heavy or limiting. Together, we work to better understand these patterns, reconnect with your strengths and values, and build beliefs that feel more aligned with who you are and how you want to move through life.

Nature Based Therapy

Reconnect with yourself through nature-based experiences that support the connection between mind, body, and environment. Using grounding practices, gentle movement, sensory awareness, and experiential activities outdoors, we work to reduce stress, regulate the nervous system, and create a greater sense of balance, safety, and connection.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Learn to notice and understand your feelings, so you can work through them and feel calmer, more in control, and more at peace with yourself.
